I think I was feeling a bit worse for wear when I did my creating for Scrapmatts this month and went all shabby! The girls are tiring me out during these school holidays and I'm feeling a bit battered around the edges too ;)
As it's a new year, one of the tasks set for the Scrapmatts DT for January was the theme of new beginnings. At Christmas, my brother and his wife and 2 year old daughter visited from London. My girls had never met their cousin so I'm hoping that the wonderful new relationship they started on this trip is one that lasts and builds up over time.
Using the gorgeous Scrapmatts Memory Keeper CB7009, Ribbon Banner CB1204 and Scrap Words CB1198. Now as for another new beginning - did you know that Scrapmatts now do charms and boy are they fabulous! I've used Filligree Flowers #3 CH005, Arrow CH030 and Filligree Flowers #7 CH014 (tucked in behind the large pink flower). All of the metal was painted with Gesso and then sanded back a little once dry. The gorgeous little pink roses on the Metal Filligree Flowers are by Manor House Creations Glitter Mini Roses in Pink
Our second task was to do an 'about me' project. Like so many scrappers I am the one generally behind the camera so solo photos are few and far between. What does get me in front of the camera are my two girls and anyone that knows me knows that my family is my number one priority - they are my happy place. So this is me with my two little princesses included:
Using Scrapmatts Screens CB4062, Ornate Frames CB6002, Scrap Words CB1189 Butterflies CB1027 and CB1028. I only used half of the Filligree Flower CH014 on my Memory Keeper so I popped the other half under my flower cluster on the left hand screen. Manor House Creations flowers Vinettes in Jade, Floral Mix Arielle and Light Green Leaves.
So now you can get even more creative with your chipboard - by adding some of the gorgeous new charms. The chipboard range can be found here and the charms can all be found here. If you wish to check out the gorgeous Manor House Creations Believe collection you can find it here
OK the house needs cleaning and I have a scrappy to do list - which should I choose?!!
